May 31 – Ready to Serve

You don't get to sit in the back and wait for people to come to you. Today Corey, Pastor Mike, and Kevin close out May with one of Corey's most fired-up moments yet — and it's well earned. Serving others isn't a bonus feature of the program. It's the whole point. The immunity is in the work with another person, not in the meetings, not in the socializing, not in the cool conversations. Kevin reflects on what lights him up — watching the lights come on in a new sponsee who actually wants it. And Mike ties it together through Isaiah's yes before he knew where God was taking him, which turns out is exactly what you're doing the moment you ask someone to be your sponsor. You say yes before you know the full assignment. The full assignment is Step 12.

The stone for today: A life that turns outward finds purpose. When I focus only on myself, I become stagnant. When I serve, I come alive.
